Simona is based in the Milan office where she assists banks, leasing and factoring companies, financial intermediaries, Italian and foreign investment funds, securitization companies and servicing platforms.

She specialises in the management of pre-litigation and litigation matters (representing both plaintiffs and defendants) on banking and financial products, with particular regard to issues pertaining to usury, compound interest, banking transparency, credit reporting systems, rights in rem and guarantees.

Moreover, she renders assistance in the acquisition of credit and single ticket portfolios (performing, UTP and NPL) for assignors or assignees in relation to credit due diligence and the relevant assignment agreements.

Lastly, she also deals with the management and valorisation of credit through judicial and extra-judicial proceedings, paying constant attention to the cost-benefit ratio for clients in view of the prospects of actual satisfaction and the incidence of the time factor and related charges.

She joined our firm in 2013 after having graduated with honours in Law from the Università degli Studi di Milano – Bicocca with her dissertation on Civil Procedure law. From June 2017 to March 2019 she was seconded to the legal and litigation department of a leading Italian banking group.

She was admitted to the Milan Bar in 2016.
