Sara Piccardo is based at both the Genoa and Milan offices and advises on corporate law, M&A, corporate crisis and insolvency issues. She principally assists clients on acquisitions and disposals of shareholdings and business units (including in special situations), corporate governance matters, debt restructuring agreements and insolvency proceedings, commercial agreements as well as in corporate and commercial litigation matters.

Before joining Giovanardi Pototschnig & Associati in 2015, she specialised in the above practice areas at Bonelli Erede Pappalardo law firm, as well as having advised on joint ventures and EPC infrastructure contracts (and the related legal disputes).

In 2008 she worked as a visiting foreign lawyer at Slaughter and May law firm in London, focusing on M&A and corporate advisory.

She graduated cum laude from the Università degli Studi di Genova in 2000 with her dissertation on Commercial Law (under the supervision of Prof. Franco Bonelli).

She was admitted to the Genoa Bar in 2004.
